Case Competition
The IAS Vascular Residents & Fellows Case Competition — present your work in Aruba and compete for a scholarship.

We expect a record number of cases again this year, but a limited number of scholarships will be awarded. Submit early for full consideration.
Submission Guidelines
How It Works
- Open to Fellows or Vascular Residents currently enrolled in an ACGME-accredited program.
- Submit an interesting case or case series in abstract format (500 word maximum).
- Aortic cases only — open or endovascular.
- Preference for successfully managed complications, innovative techniques, or rare/unique findings.
- The Program Committee selects the best 10–15 cases for presentation.
- Presentations are limited to 5 minutes with no more than 10 PowerPoint slides.
What Finalists Receive
- Reimbursement for economy airfare to Aruba (booked at least 4 weeks prior to the meeting).
- Complimentary registration for the meeting.
- Up to two (2) nights' hotel accommodation at the Hilton Aruba.
Full attendance is required. Scholarships are limited — submit your interesting case for consideration by August 7, 2026.
